The Creation Saturday prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" Pick one of the following scenarios and expand on it: 1) An animal you can humanely wear while it's still alive; or 2) A house you can live comfortably in that is made entirely of edible materials. Eating the House I never thought about eating the house, Until I found one made of crackers and cheese, I'm sure this house was built by a mouse. It's a good thing I don't have a spouse, Because he would want my chocolate keys: I never thought about eating the house. For supper I'll fix chicken scouse1, Because it goes well with Cheshire Cheese2: I'm sure this house was built by a mouse. For breakfast I'll eat eggs and baked grouse, While listening to the music of bumble bees: I never thought about eating the house. For lunch I will have hot sweet pickled souse3, Because my hunger this will appease: I'm sure this house was built by a mouse. My only nightmare is to eat my house, I want to pig out on nachos with JalapeƱo cheese: I never thought about eating the house, I'm sure this house was built by a mouse. Footnotes |
