Five Sixer Prompts, Fads, Old TV Shows

Blog City Prompt: Fivesixer asked us what fads we wish would come back. I grew up in the 60's and 70's and I loved it. I loved Go Go Boots. I loved the Beatles, Barbies, Smiley Faces, Tie dyed clothes, platform shoes, trolls, short skirts and all women wore long hair in the 60's.

I still enjoy listening to the Beatles. I still collect Barbies. I can no longer wear platform shoes and Smiley faces were cute in the day. I don't wear short skirts anymore. Trolls. I love the new Trolls. I bought a whole set of little ones. I collect stuff like this.

I liked mood rings and my son bought me one 8 years ago. Disco Music. I really liked Disco music and I would love to see that come back. I cherish the things and memories of the 60's and 70's.

30 Day Blogging Challenge: Fivesixer asked us if we remember our parents first TV and what TV Show we watched and would we want to watch them again.

My parents had a black and white TV. I didn't watch TV at four years old. My parents bought a big, console color TV. I paid attention. Seeing The Beatles on Ed Sullivan for the first time, was priceless! The TV had rabbit ears and sometimes my parents put tin foil on them. We only had 5 channels to choose from. There was no cable or dish or satellite. My Dad liked Hogan's Heroes and Mom watched Peyton Place. I liked it when I got older. We watched Christmas shows and I watched cartoons on Saturday. I liked The Flintstones and Top Cat.

These are some of my favorite shows. We got four TV Stations that show old TV Shows. I love old comedy shows the best.I am so glad I can watch them again. I loved sharing this.
