Tree Leaves

Prompt: "We ought to think that we are one of the leaves of a tree and the tree is all humanity." Pablo Casals Write a story, poem or what ever you want about this.

We are branches of a family tree and leaves are part of trees. So are flowers, pine cones, acorns and nuts. Apples and oranges, too. It takes all of us to make up humanity in human terms and we branch out and can be delicate like leaves. We are all God's children and we forget that sometimes. We as leaves are also the tree of life as well as love, hope and friendship. we all need each other and we don't want the tree to die. We have to stand together.
