Tuesday started off good. I woke up about 4:00 AM, realized it was too cold to get up and went back to sleep. I didn't stay asleep too long because I had a dream which woke me up so I got out of bed or rather up off the recliner since I don't sleep in a bed. I said my morning prayers, turned the computer on and logged in. I wrote the dream in "Dreams of Snow "  "Showing Grandma's House (WC:472)" . I think the dream had something to do with letting go of the past.

The Dreamer's Scent

The beauty of simplicity
is the aroma of felicity;
it is the perfume of roses and hyacinths
opposing the stench of duplicity.

The dreamer's scent wafts
across the landscape of reality
revealing to awakened souls
the garden of immortality
and causing the lover to proclaim,
to the eternal beloved,
to shout
across the parsecs of time and space:
"I only needed your pretty face."

The beloved's fragrance
draws the searching lover out of self
to seek
the heart's desire.
