What a depressing song. I don't like depressing songs but Prince wrote this one for a reason I am sure. This song is what, 30 years old? Have things gotten better? No. We have Isis, people still dying of drug over doses, mothers killing babies, a war within the past 15 years and we have a new President. I hope Trump can make a difference. I believe in him.

Sign of the Times. The world doesn't get any better. I wanted to be a Journalist but I am glad I changed my mind. The world is a depressing place. I just pray things get better. I like writing fantasy and fictional stories with happy endings.

I know all songs can't be happy ones. I have always heard the phrase: Sign of the Times. Never good things or good signs. I would complain about things in life. My mother would say it is a sign of the times. Where re the good things in life? Earthquakes, hurricanes, mud slides, terrorists and bad things happen. So what are the good things?

Prince did sing about love and good things. I feel this song is depressing but I guess Prince felt like he had to sing it. We can't hide our heads in the sand and ignore bad things. I just thank Prince fir all the music, his beautiful clothes, smiles and he was one of the best singers ever. I love him and miss him. I am sure all fans do. I am reading his autobiography and it gives me comfort. Sign of the times? Hopefully, we will have good signs and things will be better. Guess I never listen close to all the lyrics in this song and today I did. I learned something. I can't hide from the bad things. I just have to try to make a difference. Thank you, Prince.
