Just what it says

Just what it says

The 30 DBC prompt is "Tell about a book you're currently reading (or have recently finished). Give us a brief synopsis and your thoughts on it."

I've been slowly working my way through the self-help book "living Clean" by Narcotics Anonymous. While I do not attend NA as I feel I don't need to as a Christian, I still enjoy practicing the principles taught by that fellowship and living the lifestyle it adheres to. The book "Living Clean" is for members of NA who have some time in the program and have their feet planted pretty solidly on the ground. Without a basic understanding of the Basic Text (Narcotics Anonymous) one would find Living Clean difficult. I just celebrated 8 years clean, 6 of which I spent in the fellowship and have a pretty good understanding of the basic text. I still find parts of Living Clean difficult to grasp.
