Technology: A Love-Hate Relationship

I have
a love-hate relationship
with my car.

George
is a twentieth century automobile
born in the year 2000,
but still alive
in the twenty-first century.

He has enough
modern technology to converse
on an equal basis
with later model Kia's
while have age and macho issues
that periodically
cause him and I compatibility problems.

Right now
the technological difficulties
concerns bleeding the front breaks
and dealing with a rear break problem
that has something to do
with stopping up some holes
that are supposed
to have tubes in them
(I know only what mechanics tell me
and they never explain anything
in non-technical terms.)

Of course,
come May
there will be more issues;
this time concerning rear lights
that apparently
have minds of their own
and work only when they want too...
they don't want
to work at night.
