The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" DAY 1130 What is the purpose of sarcasm? How can people recognize and handle sarcasm when it is directed at them? What is the purpose of sarcasm? I have no idea what purpose of fills. Perhaps it's a way to prove an individual has a weird sense of humor. I admit to making some sarcastic statement now and then. These statements aren't premeditated or spoken out of spite, it's just that I don't have a coffee filter between my brain and my mouth and, as a results, sometimes my thought come out of my mouth before I realize I've spoken them. How do I handle sarcasm? Normally I give the person the benefit of the doubt. I don't think people purposely make these types of statements. In most cases people just say the first thing that pops into their heads without thinking about what they're saying. I've found that it's best not to take everything people, especially people you don't know very well, personally. The duality In order to develop spiritual attribute the soul must overcome the insistent self's desire to conquer. Insistent self, the ego, sees only material existence and doesn't look beyond into the spiritual world where the soul thrives when it acquires and exercises spiritual attributes on the material plane. The soul progresses when it overcomes the ego and develops spiritual attributes. |
