And I have worked and many places God you have given me the strength to survive To put bread and the food my table graces. My life hasn't been so bad Although there were times when it wasn't great But the World today is so sad And their leaders are in terrible state These hands are soiled for I haven't suffered 'Why do I question ether's poverty?' 'I have plenty so why should I care for others? ' Money I can't give but prayer is my offertory . I pray for hope and peace to return one day And brothers reunited we will be To live together all World leaders in harmony Then the soil from these hands will be free. {Mary Ann MCPhedran} {Mary Ann MCPhedran} |
