Burn Out, Compassion
Blog City Prompt: Joy asked us what it means to be burned out.

I get burned out at work. The patients want Meds for ailments and it is because they just like to take pills. I get tired of the patients fighting, going outside, setting off the alarms and they ask the same questions all the time and want to fight with the staff and each other. One woman hanged herself and lived, thank goodness. Another guy threw a chair at the glass doors. I get tired at night, trying to do the same job and keep up.

Everyone gets burned out with jobs. You don't feel appreciated and it is a lot of stress. When you are sick and things happen, it makes the job worse. This is why you get vacations and days off. I am thankful for them. At your own personal life, you set your own pace and don't have to hurry and be on a time limit. I have been at the same job for 31 years and it does get old. The place is closing in a few weeks and I can get a job at Visiting Nurses and then I can retire in December. I am so ready.

BCOF Prompt: Snow asked us about compassion and it being necessary for our survival.

We do need compassion. We have some countries declaring war on each other and if people had more compassion for each other, there wouldn't be any wars or evil. Compassion is necessary. I have no use for evil people. It would be a beautiful world if everyone just got along and had compassion.
