{The jour{ney Home UP IN BONNY SCOTLAND.JOURNAL WDC PRO. 4}
it was an emotional moment saying goodbye to Grace, not knowing if I will ever see her again as she is trying Chemo to see if it will give her some more years to live, and if it doesn't work she may not be around at Christmas. Grace is my cousin and my friend I went around with her constant when I lived in Livingston.
Robert arrived to take me to the station at 10.30 and my train was due to leave from Edinburgh at twelve mid day. I had 10 minutes when the assistant porter took me me to and and settled me on the train. The journey was pleasant and I arrived safely home in Corby at 4.50 in the afternoon. I looked around the house and noticed the smell of fresh paint my son had repainted the living room, a nice surprise and it was good to be back home.
