This week's country: Albania

Albania. This is a country I have just seen the name and heard of. So I goggled it and this is what I found out. This will sound like a geography lesson so stay with me. I will do my best.

Albania is a unitary parliamentary constitution republic. Tirana is the capitol located in the southwestern part of the Balkan Pennisula. It is by the Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea. Albania was home to Illyrian, Thracian and Greek Tribes. It was annexed by Rome in 3rd Century BC. It was part of the Byzantine Empire. I learned a little about the Byzantine Empire in World History and World Civilization Classes. To be honest, I was bored. I never cared for Geography and ancient civilization. It was all Greek to me!

Albania is home to wolves, lynx, eagles, wild boars and pole cats which are skunks.

O saw pictures of the Albania mountains covered with snow and their beaches. Looks like beautiful country. Albania also close to Italy. If I get to Italy, I will stop by Albania.
