Language, Woods
Prompt: "In language gentle as thine own: whispering in enamored tone sweet or oracles of woods and dells and summer winds in sylvan cells." Percy Bysshe Shelley

In school, I loved English and poetry and this is what I was good at. I still am. I enjoy poems and stories about beautiful lands, language and reflections. My parents have woods behind their house and I need to go walk in them and get in touch with nature and myself. Summer winds are so calm and soothing. You can hear the wind whisper good things and tell you things will be alright. Looking at the beauty of nature lifts your spirits. In Terre Haute, Indiana, there are hills and woods and it is like you are somewhere else and not in Indiana. Guess I live in the wrong part of Indiana. I enjoy the woods and green farm fields in the summer. I do love Lake Michigan. I could live there. Beauty and whispering sounds can be in the woods, lakes or anywhere with beautiful scenery. I am so thankful for them and hope to see more beautiful scenery someday.
