A Mother's Strength (prompt 3 week one) 96 words

Shoulders are not burdened
yet inside sits a heavy heart,
the future is so uncertain
as I play a mother’s part.

A constant ache ‘n worry
of how you will be today;
take it easy ‘n never hurry
blessings are on the way.

Minutes turn into hours
when I watch your pain.
Your illness is ours-
with nobody to blame.

If I could wipe it away
Oh- If only I could,
but instead I pray;
as any mother would.

My strength is here
never letting you fall;
wiping every single tear-
I’m here for it all.
