Prompt 3: Write a poem about dragons. Cute dragons, fierce dragons, wise dragons, silly dragons... it's up to you. ~ Poetry
Let me tell the tale of dragons and the sea,
Of fairies and monsters,
And fantasies of all degrees
Frolicking on the foam with wayward imposters
Bare the teeth, Breathe the fire
Taloned claws to grasp the prized prey
Primp and preen for all to admire
To love the dragon, the heart on display
From age to age, from land to land
The wise will seek the dragon’s charm
From time to time, from man to man
The wise will fail the dragon’s weapon to disarm.
Move then foolish and young
Into the schools now left barren
To find a new place to belong
And fill the dreams for which you yearn
