Tea Part


Tea cups and saucers
and peony petals
scattered on steps
of grandmothers porch.
A little pinch of this
and a little pinch of that
making the best
muffins for the house cat.
Imaginary friends
lighting up chatter
of favourite dolls
'n things that matter
to sweet little whispers
to loud belly laughter
sweet little grand-daughter
playing tea party
with a furry friend whiskers.
