All Game of Thrones Writing ~ 2017 |
Prompt 3: You’ve done all manner of heroic deeds this month. Unfortunately, nobody’s bothered to write you an ode. The meanies! This is your opportunity to brag, share your achievements with the world. Poetry I saw the challenge and rolled my eyes, bet I could take them by surprise. Two hundred reviews, a daunting task to hide my delight, I’d don a mask. I could be friend or even foe, and they will wonder, but never know. I put the Royal Purple aside in GoT games, you’ve got to hide. Count your reviews, pick up the pace an eye on the wheel, a constant chase. The days move fast, it’s now or never; the dash for the Throne, alliances will sever. Tagging and blocking, more challenges for you. It’s overwhelming. What can your House do? Take a deep breath, the end is in sight, grab your players, it’s time to unite. It’s the final push, no need to brag. You’ve done your best, it’s in the bag. But wait, what’s that? The underdog came with two hundred reviews, staking their claim. It’s neat and tidy in one little link. Oh, GoTers you’ve all been hoodwinked! WC: 332 Lines: 22 |
