From whence cometh our help? October 6

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. --Psalm 50:22&23

"Conversation" here means "our behavior, attitudes----the way we conduct ourselves in the affairs of this life." Read ALL of Psalm 50 to get the full gist of the scriptures noted above.

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. --Luke 13:3

To make peace with God, we must acknowledge our sin/wrongdoing, turn away from it and turn to God.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. --James 4:7

If you are finding it hard to trust God today, ask Him for help... because that is why we have the Holy Spirit (our "comforter) with us... to help us along the way. For when we are weak and yet are trusting in Him, we are strong. Be strong in the Lord, today, and in the power of His might... Strength comes from trusting God.
