THE WHITE RABBIT

Lilith read from Hosea 13:16, "And their women ripe with child,
you will rip open by the sword and dash in pieces upon the rocks
and all shall be extinguished."

Lilith laughed and read, "Psalms 137:9, Blessed is he who
will taketh your infants and dash their heads upon the stone."
Lilith strengthened the ball lightening she was incarnating ..

"Let all the forces of nature turn upon Adam's seed!" she shouted
at the night sky.
The ball lightening shot into the air towards Metropolis.

"No power on Earth can stop this." she hissed..
"We'll see about that!" Supergirl shouted as she flew over.
Wonder Woman flew beside her.

Lilith growled and howled, "This is more than brute strength!"
There was a flash that lit up the night sky.
Wonder Woman alighted beside Lilith with Supergirl behind her.

"The lightening fizzled." Supergirl said.
Wonder Woman tided Lilith with her golden lasso and laughed,
"You cannot break free. I had the lasso blessed by the Pope."

Lilith struggled, but could not transport away in smoke.
"Sacrilege! It has been blessed by the blood of the Galilean!"
Lilith cursed.+
