The Saga of Prosperous Snow Continues |
Monday, November 20, 2017 "Every child comes with the message that God is not yet discouraged of man." Rabindranath Tagore The "Blogging Circle of Friends " prompt for DAY 1831: November 20 is Universal Children's Day. Write a story, poem, or blog entry about children. Thoughts about Children In this season of gratitude, we need to give thanks for our children, our grandchildren, our nieces, our nephews, and our neighbors' children. Without these precious jewels the human race would die out, and there would be no tomorrow. Without these gifts from God, we would grow old without experiencing either sorrow or joy, either tears or laughter. While there are times when they try our patience, at other times they show us that humanity is moving in the right direction. All children have a right to certain things, and these are love, an education, someplace warm to sleep, and three meals each day. Children are the future, they are the hope of humanity they are the leaders of of the planet tomorrow. Prayer for Children "O Thou kind Lord! These lovely children are the handiwork of the fingers of Thy might and the wondrous signs of Thy greatness. O God! Protect these children, graciously assist them to be educated and enable them to render service to the world of humanity. O God! These children are pearls, cause them to be nurtured within the shell of Thy loving-kindness. Thou art the Bountiful, the All-Loving." ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Baha'i Prayers |
