Thankfulness under all conditions
However, difficult life may be
Always be grateful for what you have.
No better advice have I ever been given!
Knowledge of my blessing increases them,
Finding something each day to be thankful for
Usually dissipates depression,
Lowers my blood pressure, and enhances my joy.

Thankfulness and appreciation,
Happiness and contentment are the results.
Unhappiness ravages my spirit
Results in blindness to my blessings.
Searching for assets, items to give thanks for,
Daily, weekly, or monthly inspires my soul,
Acknowledges the fact that I am still alive, and
Yielding thanks to the Glorious Lord.
