My Body in Winter and Summer

My body love spring and autumn
when the weather is temperate
and civilized.

In summer my body complains of the heat,
it doesn't like
triple digit temperatures.

In winter my body complains of the cold,
single digit temperatures
makes it feel old.

In winter my body shivers
and its energy drops
until I don layers of
warm sweaters,
shoes and socks.

In summer my body swelters
and its energy drops,
but I can't remove
enough clothing
to keep me cool.

In winter and summer
the power bill is high;
I can't keep the house
warm or cool enough
to make may body happy.
