THE ANGRY MAN

What is Evolution?

"In the beginning there was molten rock." Peggy is interrupted by a raised hand.
"Yes." Peggy looks down at her seating plan and finds the name of the student
raising his hand, "Muzzy."
"Where did the lava come from?" Muzzy queries.
"Alright, lava comes from the core of the planet. In the molten rock are the
basic chemicals of life, hydrogen, carbon combine to form water and oxygen.
And from this soup the first cells of life are born. Yes, Muzzy?" Peggy points
to Muzzy's waving hand.

"Cells can't come from nonliving rocks." Muzzy states.

Peggy tilts her head, "All living things are carbon based. Under the right
conditions life can come from a chemical reaction in molten rocks."

"Molten rocks would sterilize all living cells." Muzzy retorts.

A buzzing noise comes out of Peggy's mouth as the android teacher formulates
a response. "Muzzy. First came the rains that cooled the lava, then life arose."

"The chemicals in the rocks would not be released if they were cooled."
Muzzy gives a toothy smile.

Peggy folds her chrome arms across her shinny chrome breasts.
She is wearing a mesh green short dress. Her blond hair is curled back and over
her shoulders. She narrows her glowing blue eyes at Muzzy.

"Hot mud pits would act as a chemical brew..." More buzzing comes from Peggy's mouth.

"How hot? This is all speculation. Isn't it simpler to believe in a God?" Muzzy smirks.

Peggy tilts her head to the right and then left, "There are many interpretations of God.
We are looking for a scientific explanation .. You may believe anything, but what evidence
do you have to support your assertion?" Peggy sips an energy drink designed for her digestion.
She licks her red lips with the tip of her chrome tongue.

"What do you believe?" Muzzy salutes Peggy with his bottle water and sips it.

There is more buzzing from Peggy's mouth, "I believe in the power of knowledge."
"Knowledge without wisdom is meaningless." Muzzy smiles and walks over to Peggy.
He kisses her gently on her red ruby lips. Her lips are soft and warm as are her
arms. Peggy smiles, "Please return to your seat. And thank you for the demonstration
of human sexuality." The class laughs.

Peggy takes a long breath, raising her breasts, "I am a creation of science and yet
I feel desire and perhaps that is the next step in human evolution."

Muzzy winks at Peggy, "That's intelligent design."
Peggy laughs...
