OBEDIENCE - March 17

OBEDIENCE:

         Not always so important to us, but paramount to God.

         I’m reminded of King Saul, King David’s predecessor, who lost a kingdom due to a single, simple act of justifiable (at least in his eyes) disobedience.

         If disobedience was unacceptable then, it is unacceptable now because our God is the same --- yesterday, today and forever.

         Yet we are disobedient, regularly. It saddens our Lord Jesus, who bore the cross in our stead----obedient unto death. He is our example, our elder Brother and friend. He came to show us the heart of our Father, and He did it perfectly.

         Let’s turn this thing around, today. With His help, we can do it!
