Movies and Horses

Early on I fell in love
with the majesty of horses
and the allure of the movie cowboy.
The dashing daring
                    Errol Flynn
The strong steady silent
                    John Wayne

I couldn't wait to grow up
to have my own horses.
Married myself a cowboy
          some say, an Errol Flynn
Raised our son to be a good man
          most say, a John Wayne

Movies and horses were my loves
My loves became my life.
