Baby animals are born in the spring. You can pick any baby animal for a pet. Which one would you choose and why?

The only baby animals, I might want would either be a kitten or a puppy. Even those I would have to consider a long time before acquiring one. The problem with baby animals, besides the issue of housebreaking, is that they grow up to be adult animals. After they "baby animal" stops being cute, many people don't want it any more, but they still have an animal that is becoming more expensive and time consuming to take care of. Instead of giving or purchasing baby animals in spring, give a cuddly Teddy Bear or some other type of plush toy.
