Who/what is the best cereal mascot, and why are they better than the runner-up?

Snap, Crackle, Pop

My favorite cereal talks to me,
with the voices of little elves laughing:
"Snap, Crackle, Pop!"

The Rice Crispy elves are my favorite cereal mascots because the bring back fond memories of childhood breakfasts. They were part of my well balanced diet of eggs, toast, bacon, cereal, milk, and orange juice. Sometimes Mom or Grandma would let us eat just cereal for breakfast, especially on days when they were planning a big lunch with guests.
