SIN IS NOT OKAY - April 10

Be not deceived; Sin is NOT okay. God doesn't look the other way.

Sin separates us from God---from relationship/fellowship with Him, the Lord Jesus Christ.

And if your prayers are not being answered, sin may be the problem.

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. -Isaiah 59:2

ON JUDGMENT DAY: …As the weeds are collected and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom every cause of sin and all who practice lawlessness. And they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.… Matthew 13:40-42

Sin is lawlessness.

When Jesus was confronted by the woman caught in adultery, He said: “Go and sin no more.” Check it out... When he cast out demons, when he healed the sick----He repeatedly said the same thing. "Go and sin no more."

He says the same thing to us---to all those who call themselves children of God.

If you want to belong to Him, you must surrender your will, willfulness. For he who loves his life, will lose it.

…Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a seed; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, My servant will be as well. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.… -John 12:24-26

Go and sin no more.
