I Am

I am duality.
I am the swirl of dark and light.
I am the embrace of positive and negative.
I am the junction of matter and spirit.
I am both mortal and immortal.
I am the universe in flux.
I am the pinnacle of physical evolution.
I am the nadir of spiritual evolution.
I am a mirror reflecting divinity.
I am the link between yesterday and tomorrow.
I am both saint and sinner.
I am the passive yin.
I am the proactive yang.
I am the embodiment of opposites.
I am the dust of stars.
I am the conjunction of egg and sperm.
I am the quintessence of both ignorance and knowledge.
I am a moment in time.
I am a tear drop falling to the ground.
I am peal of laughter echoing.
I am a double helix of DNA.
I am the body and the soul.
I am the true believer and the eternal skeptic.
I am a ray of light shining from the prism of love.
I am a degree o perfection in the spectrum of transformation.
I am the Phoenix rising.
I am a drop in the ocean of life.
I am a spark of energy and an atom of matter.
I am a vibration in the symphony of humanity.
I am an instrument played by the hand of God.
I am the choice freewill makes.
I am the womb of creativity.
I am the personification of both faith and doubt.
I am a reflection of divine love.
I am humanity evolving spirituality.
I am a citizen of Earth.
I am a follower of light.
I am a seeker after truth.
I am a butterfly in the chrysalis of tests.
I am a believer in the unity of God.
I am a poet.
I am a woman.
I am the discoverer of the knowledge of self.
I am a nerve impulse moving from dendrite to axon.
I am the prayer and its answer.
I am both an inconsistency and a consistency.
I am both word and deed.
I am both harmony and dissonance.
I am both fear and courage.
I am a human being.

Not sure when I wrote this. My inspiration was meditation on the Baha'i Sacred Writings.
