Stories Based On Dreams

Prompt: Lyn asked if we ever written stories based on dreams or if our friends have. She asked are they beneficial.

Dan Curtis, Producer of "Dark Shadows" wrote "Dark Shadows". He had a dream of a young girl knocking on a door of a big, eerie mansion and he woke up. He thought she was there to be a governess and Victoria Winters was born and so was "Dark Shadows." I love that show.

I have weird dreams but I have never wrote from a dream. I once dreamed that I was kidnapped by pirates and they took me to their pirate king and it was Leonardo DiCaprio who was the head pirate. Darn! No Johnny Depp! I have wrote pirate stories but it wasn't from my dream.

I use to have this dream I was driving a car in an ice tunnel by an ocean and there were killer whales. Everything was frozen. I wrote a story of an ice Princess who lived in a ice cave in the artic and she had polar bears pull her ice carriage. This story might have came out of my dream.

Everything else is from my imagination.
