Woe Unto Them - May 17

         There are those who say they love God but follow after worldly things (socially, economically and politically), while ignoring what God says in His Word. Woe unto them, for their religion is vain, worthless… and their life is without substance, profane in the face of God.

God says:

         If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. -2 Chronicles 7:14

         Draw nigh to me, and I will draw nigh to you. -James 4:8

         Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. -Matthew 11:29
