New Day!
New Age!
New Year!

Naw-Ruz Party

We gather in groups of two or more,
Dressed in ruby, gold, emerald, and sapphire,
We celebrate God's new day,
And proclaim the Kingdom of God on Earth.

The earth reborn from winter's tomb,
is dressed in red, yellow, green, and blue,
to celebrate the vernal equinox
Spring in the northern hemisphere.

Reborn out of matter's sepulcher,
Light's followers dressed in love's hues,
Celebrate God's Kingdom on Earth,
Spring in faith's hemisphere.

Naw-Ruz Dawn

Attar of rose
flavors the tears of dawn

Orange spice
tinges the light of morning

Nightingale's essence
Perfumes dawn's breeze

Naw-Ruz:
A New Day

The splendor of God's eternal light
Shines on humanity again:
A new day has dawned upon the world.

In this day
humanity stands united
beneath the banner of the Glory of God.

In this day
love for Baha'u'llah consumes
candles of red, yellow, black, and white.

Greetings

Caressed
By warm winds
Green leaf trees
Greet God's New Day

New life stirs within my soul's dark womb,
As I ascend out of ego's tomb;
With tears of blood I greet faith's new light
- Baha'u'llah has restored my soul's sight,
Revealed to me religion
Unified by God's latest Manifestation.
Zeitgeist, that I was, now worship God alone!

Flight

A broken winged bird,
I wing my flight to heaven
Flying on one wing.

Night descends upon an unbelieving world;
Another year ascends the staircase of eternity,
We celebrate by teaching the Cause of God.
- Baha'u'llah tau ght:
Religion is the instrument for order and tranquility;
Unity and concord is the purpose of religion;
Zeal is desirable in our approach to God.

Morning Wind
On Naw-Ruz

Gentle as the touch of the lover,
Stroking the beloved's hair,
The wined of morning arouses,
The seekers of reality.

God has kept His promise--
Christ spirit has returned--
God's Gate has opened the age of fulfillment,
and God's Glory has united all religions
beneath the banner of God's love.
