In this day,
the seeker knows,
that safety comes through
steadfastness in the Covenant of God.

the words become beacons
pulsating in the night.

In context
they become a stars
guiding the wayfarer home.

The veils are rent
Split from top to bottom
By the Word of God

Reading
the sacred scriptures aloud
relaxes the body
and clears the mind.

Word of God

Each of our words
are links creating a chain of thought
echoing through the smoke of Armageddon.

Like a meteor
streaking through the atmosphere
the Work of God strikes
melting the chain of thought.

Meditation on the
Writings of Baha'u'llah

I see
Visions of a greater glory
When I swim the the ocean of His words.

I hear
The music of the spheres
When I intone the verse of the Pen of Glory.

exhaled faith's perfume,
revelation's essence
and power's utterance.

In silent meadows
of meditation germination
occurs.

The soul
sprouting roots and leaves
flourishes within God's citadel.

intones eternal light's joy;
crystal radiating life.

Blessed is the lover who wakes
         intoning God's praise at dawn;
blessed is the seeker who hears
         the nightingales morning song;
blessed is the believer who sees
         the Lord returned in glory;
blessed is the wanderer who finds
         the point of adoration.

In joy's firmament
the soul soars on the wings of
the intoned verse.

An orchard planted
By the Glory of God to
Feed humanity.

to nurture the faithful
in the Covenant of God.

I feel them recreating me;
Making me an entity of His creation.

My mind perceives
The echoes of heavenly melodies.

Baha'u'llah has removed
the law of holy war
from the Sacred Scriptures.
