Dawn-Breakers: To Those Who Sacrificed Their Lives For The Bab and Baha'u'llah 1 Dawn-breakers of a new day they ascend out of Stygian darkness. Each releasing in a single energy burst the power of twenty thousand candles. 2 The living letters of God's Holy Book consumed in the fire of love. 3 In dawn's scarlet light purple blossomed Chaste Trees bleed for Baha'u'llah. 4 Moths attracted to God's ancient religion renewed glow in the joy of reunion. 5 Sheltered by the Tree of Life they dwell in the Abha paradise. 6 Fountains of splendor water the tree of divine love and nurture the seeds of faith. 7 Mirrors reflecting the Glory of God proclaim divine unity. 8 Eighteen living letters written in the Book of Life by the Bab. 9 Love's flame ignited, a living candelabrum dances across the stage of faith. Each candle drops hot wax upon bare flesh as the audience applauds. 10 Beacons of truth lit by the Primal Point for the Ancient Beauty. 11 The Children of God subduing the heart's citadel. 12 Flowers of love picked by the Almighty and transplanted in paradise. 13 Ruby wings at dawn butterflies free from cocoons. 14 Candles of faith consumed in service to the divine lit by the flame of love. 15 Nightingale of dawn singing unity's anthems announce the Promised One. 16 Red breasted robins greet the Lord of the Age. 17 Sparrows ascend out of the nest of fear transformed into eagles. 18 Jewels polished by the hand of tests glow with in the sun of faith. 19 Why is dawn's sky red? Blood of the martyrs shed in The heaven of faith! Poet's Note: ▼ |
