Purple Egg

My soul
is a big purple egg.
My body floats inside.
The egg moves
through worlds
in a golden spiral
dragging my body along,
through arms of galaxies,
bands of tropical cyclones.
Outward, inward
forward, back,
never ceasing.
I'm just along
for the ride.
