Out of Zion

"And may people shall go and say, come ye and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his path for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem."

Isiah 2:3

In the last days,
when humanity stands on the brink
of the abyss,
when the flames of Armageddon
consume the fortresses of religion.

A multitude of angels will say,
to the children of the Book,
to the followers of ancient faiths:
"Come, see the crown on Carmel's crest!"
"Circumambulate the City of your Lord!"
"Enter the New Jerusalem!"

Out of Zion
the Law of God goes,
reflected
from the white marble dome
adorning the crest
of Mount Carmel.
