I've Been Waiting For You

I was about to give up on love. Bad boyfriend choices.
He showed up riding a motorcycle. An old high school friend.
We went to the movies and out for dinner. He met my parents.
My mother knew his family. We were meant to be. Finally, love.

I've been waiting for you. I have known love before. I thought I
would no more. That affection. This was the real thing. Two old
boyfriends tried to get me back. No way. I wanted you. My lonely
days are through. I loved you and yes, you were the one for me.

I walked down the wedding aisle. I was happy and still am. I love
you. You are my Darcy, Johnny Depp and the love of my life. Thank
you for everything. We have been through a lot and stayed true to
each other. We have a comfortable, nice house and a baby kitty.

I had been waiting for you. I knew you in high school. Who knew that
you would be the one? Thank you for everything. Hopefully, we have a
lot of years left together. My love, my life. We may get mad at each
