Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "How do you deal with being without power for 24 hours"

I assume your power was just knocked out. I feel for you although I'm assuming you live in the northern hemisphere, which means you are suffering from oppressive heat. If my power were to go out I'd much rather it be in the heat than in the dead of winter. I can always take a cold shower but once you are cold you're cold all over. I admit that I sleep better in cold weather though. Something about cold air that can induce deep, restful sleep. I once slept in a house with no heat in the winter and it was the most restful sleep I ever had though I was snuggled under four comforters and could see my breath in the air and had frost on the floors! It was only for one night though. Thank God we can survive those nights huh and are usually better for them!

Blog City image small "Prompt: "A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices," says William James.
Agree or disagree, but if you agree, what do you think are the underlying orientations inside people to make them act this way?"

I would agree. I think the underlying orientation that makes people prejudice is sin. I mean the opposite of prejudices is love and it is certain that mankind does not love his fellow man. Not loving our fellow man is sin.
