My motivation for this week is to attempt to catch up on everything I couln't do on line while the electricity was out for 24 hours. The worst part of the entire experience was my smartphone's battery was out of a charge until after the electricity came back on about 11:30 P.M. on Sunday night. When the electricity came back on it woke me up, because the air conditioner and the lights came back on.

Gratitude List for 13 Kamál

Today I am thankful...
          ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn.
          ...that we have a small barbecue grill so that we could barbecue our meals when the electricity goes out.
          ...that I still have my copy of The Little Brown Compact Handbook. This is a grammar book, which I can use when I don't have access to the internet or I am composing when I am offline.
          ...for coffee. I was unable to brew coffee on Sunday because the electricity was out.
          ...that the electricity was restored last night, because now the air conditioners work and I am able to charge my smart phone.
          ...for the small bag of Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies to eat with my coffee this morning.
          ...that I have five Editors' Picks for my next edition of the Fantasy Newsletter.
          ...that I was able to catch up on the reviews I did not do yesterday because of the power out.
          ...that I have 2,849,945 GPs in my Gift Points account.
