Gratitude breaks the spell of Writers Block |
Fiḍál (Grace), 14 Kamál (Perfection) 175 B.E. - Tuesday, August 14, 2018 When I read the "Question of the Day!" for Tuesday, August 14--What is something you are grateful for today?--I immediately thought of the above quote by Baha'u'llah. I attempt to list five things I am grateful for everyday. I used to make a once a week entry, of ten items on Thursday, which changed when I read an article about daily gratitude. The article suggested listing five things each day, and I think that is better because I can list more items each week. Listing more items helps me maintain a positive attitude. Gratitude List for 14 Kamál Today I am thankful... ...that I did not have any problems getting online and uploading my home page this morning. ...that I was able to pet Millie, the neighbors dog, today. ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn today. ...for the scriptures revealed by Baha'u'llah because they help me maintain a positive attitude no matter what is happening in my life. ...that I have several short poems I can post on my offsite blog if, for some reason, I cannot write a new poem to post.
