It's National Tooth Fairy Day! Do you have a favorite memory or tradition related to the tooth fairy? What's the going rate for a tooth now where you live? Like for me, the tooth fairy left a dime under my pillow.

Tooth Fairy

When I was a child, and losing my baby teeth, I would put the tooth under my pillow and the next morning there would be a dime or a quarter where the tooth had been. As a child, I believed in the tooth fairy just as I believed in Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny. As an adult, I don't see anything wrong with letting children use their imagination because eventually most children--as they mature--will realize that the Tooth Fairy, Santa Clause, and the Easter Bunny are part of the cultural heritage of one or both of their parents.

As an adult, if I were going to celebrate any special day on August 22 I would celebrate Be An Angel Day. Be An Angel Day encourages random acts of kindness, because kindness is something that will help bring humanity together.
