Thursday Thoughts on Revisistation and Remembrance
Istijlál (Majesty), 18 Asmá’ (Names) 175 B.E. - Thursday, September 6, 2018
It's been a good morning. I posted an entry to Poet 999 - A Butterfly Emerges From Her Cocoon entitled "Water of Life". I begin today's Gratitude entry in "Writing in Snow" and read Parts 5 and 6 of the serial An Intro to The Baha'i Faith. After finishing those two articles, I realized that was the series I began reading on August 27 or 28. I read the article in the evening on my smartphone, and the battery died before I finished the article. I put the phone on the charger, and read something else while the battery was charging. By the time the battery was charged, I was too sleepy to read anything else. I'll start at the beginning, either this afternoon or in the morning

"In revisitation and remembrance, we bring back that which is not always fresh in the mind but always familiar to the heart." India Hicks What are your reflections on this?
Revisistation and Remembrance
Memories bring back
yesterday's joy and sadness
helps me to let go.
When revisiting
the trauma of my childhood,
I know they are past;
I know I have to deal with
the residue of terror.
When remembering
the happiness of childhood,
I can relax, smile, and laugh.
