Halloween 2018

I am crafting
a quartet of scarecrows
for the lawn this year,
garbed in old T-shirts:
an Obama, a Bernie,
a Hillary, a bind Trump,
a magickal resistance.
The trick or treaters
aren't scared off by politics.
And real straw men
still rule our Congress.
