Rose garden of memories
Just something silly I wrote while sitting among the roses.
Rose garden of memories
A doe and a yearling buck run amok in the memorial gardens among autumn roses not yet kissed by frost. What have I lost this year other than pounds. Don't answer. Time and space confront me. And deer ...oh, dear... they confuse me. I'm used to my own blame-shame-game. Do not abuse me. Now petals, white and purple, orange and yellow, the fragrance of red Rosa rugosa draw me into them. How I avoid the thorns. Off in the void beyond the cirrus turning pink, beyond twilight creeping from the east, there are other suns and other sunsets gracing whatever blooms and whatever grazes upon them.
