Prompt: "When you were first beginning writing, who were your literary inspirations? What did you learn from their writing? Are they still as inspiring?"

When I first began writing my influences were Dr. Suess, Charles Dickens, and others. Bear in mind that I was still a child. I knew the first time I figured out that those symbols we call letters had significance that I was going to be a writer. I was in first grade.

Prompt: "How thoroughly do you research before you begin writing? If you do what do you focus on most... setting,character development or feasible plot situations? If you don't and just wing it is there a reason you don't research first?"

I seldom research before writing unless it is a research specific assignment. I'm getting ready to write a 12 page paper for school, which is a research paper.
