Take away...
I was listening to NPR this morning on the way back from the hospital where I did some routine blood work and they were talking about how important atmosphere was for the sense of taste. One chef wouldn't serve food until the atmosphere was noticeably happy, so to speak. They set up the diners with a glass that made mooing sounds and was cued in that it was time to serve dinner once most of the tables began playing with the cups and the attitude was jolly. Atmosphere lends more to the senses than the mere senses themselves. This, I want to remember and put in my own writing so I am writing this note here. Hope it helps someone else?
