November the fifth - Introduction Chapter Done for Wandita
Introduction Chapter done for Wandita

I don’t believe it myself, but I did get the last two sections, what I call parts, of the Introduction Chapter for my Wandita novel. Why do I say that I can’t believe it? It’s because I forgot to take my Mouse to work today. That didn’t stop me from writing, but it did slow me down a lot. In fact, I didn’t think that I was going to get them both done today because of it. I figured I would get one done if I was lucky. I doubled that, didn’t I.

What’s next? I might have to do some editing, but I will not know that until I get home and can do a total word count. Right now, it’s just a little over twenty double-spaced pages. Which means that it should be about ten pages of novel Chapter-wise. Of course, right now it’s set for sixty-five characters per line. I might still have to edit it some when I change it to sixty. Might even need to re-write it because of the end of lines problem I have some time. What I try to do is get as close to sixty-five or sixty characters as possible, but I don’t like to be more than five characters off. Which means I need to re-write my writing sometimes. The same goes for having only one word on a line. True, sometimes it still happens when I do WDC formatting. I’m not going to have that problem with these novels because I am adjusting them to match my Word Documents.

Yes, I know what you are going to say if you’re a novelist. This is my first draft. Of course, I’m going to be doing some re-writing. I don’t write like that. All my stories, Chapters, are done right the first time. True, I do a lot of editing before, during, and after I write something, but that’s not the same as the first draft versus a completed story or Chapter.

Tomorrow I’m going to be starting on my Introduction Chapter for my Jessica Strong novel. I’m hoping I will be able to finish it within a day or two too, but whether I can do it or not I should be able to get it done by the end of this week. I have decided to wait until I finish my Jessica Strong Introduction Chapter before I create them for WDC. What I’m thinking is if I create my Wandita Introduction Chapter now, it might make everyone think I like one better than the other. Which I don’t. I like them both the same. For Chapter One I’m going to reverse it and do Jessica Strong before I do Wandita just like I switched them back and forth while writing my Outlines.
