The Quest1

He sit alone upon a mountain,
Seeking to know what will be,
He walked alone across empty plains,
Seeking to find eternity.

She walked along life's crowded way,
Helping her fellowman,
She labored long in the field of life
Feeding the hungry from her hands.

He died alone upon a mountain,
Still seeking to know what will be.
She died helping her fellowman.
Who found eternity?

Today I am Thankful...
          ...that I finished Why the Baha’i Faith Prohibits Book-Burning   by David Langness, which is Part 5 of Read Something Sacred Everyday  .
          ...that I have $28.17 in my Vindale Research account.
          ...that I found two more poems written by my mother. I put "Friends"  and "After I'm 100"  in "My Mother's Poems" . This makes 11 poems in that book.
          ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn today.
          ...that I have 3,877,151 GPs in my Gift Points account.
