America Quilt1

A patchwork quilt of humanity's multicultural heritage,
evolving through the interactions of it multicolored population
into a microcosms reflecting Earth's cultural heritage:
a patchwork quilt of humanity.

Gratitude List 15 Qudrat

Today I am thankful...
          ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn today.
          ...that I stood up for myself, and said something about an issue. I knew it would upset the other person and make me feel guilty; however, it was an issues that both of us needed to consider.
          ...that I was able to attend the Devotional Service at the Baha'i Center today.
          ...for the potato salad I ate the Baha'i Center today.
          ...that I have 3,918,601 GPs in my Gift Points account today.

Is Hope2

Is hope,
as some have said,
a desire for the tangible reality
of an item?

Is hope
a crystal goblet
reflecting the light of faith?

Is hope
a glass chain
attached to matters plain?

Is hope,
as others have said,
a creature with feathers
that lays snuggled in the heart?
