November the nineteenth - Great Word Count, Poor Part Count
Great Word Count, Poor Part Count

I’ve done very well today with my Word Count. I have done about sixteen hundred words today. That’s almost a WDC Short Story. So, in a lot of ways that is good news. In fact, I consider it good news. Usually, I’m lucky if I can get about five hundred to a thousand words done in one day. To get this many done means my words flowed very well for me. What does that mean? It means that once I started writing it just poured out of me. The only thing that distracted me from my writing was work. Being Sunday there wasn’t a lot of work, but what little there was disturbed my flow. It takes me a little bit of time to get that back.

That was the good news. The bad news is the that I didn’t get much of the Introduction Chapter for my Jessica Strong novel finished today. A lot of that is my fault, though. I was just too tired last night before I went to sleep to finish part two of my novel. Yes, I did do a few hundred more words to it, but I started getting sleepy quite quickly. So, I went to sleep. Which means I had to finish part two before I went into part three. It took me almost three hours to that. That means I only had about five hours to work on part three. That’s when it started getting distracting at work. Which means I only got about half of it done. I consider getting half of it done good news, though.

Why do I consider that good news? It because it means that the Jessica Strong Introduction Chapter is half done. I only have half of it left to do. Which I might be able to do in the next couple of days. True, I wanted to do three fifths or more of it over the weekend, but half is good too. Just not as good. I still don’t know if I will be able to do that much in two days, but I’m going to try. I’ve got a very good chance of doing it. At least I think that I do. Only time will tell if my thinking is right or wrong. When I do this Blog tomorrow, I might have a better idea if I will be able to do it.

So, what’s next? Will I continue working on it after I finish this Blog entry, or will I start fresh after I wake up today. I haven't quite decided if I want to try to finish the third part before I go to sleep or not, but I probably won’t. Not because I’m tired yet, but because I can’t concentrate on doing it. Which will result in me getting sleepy very quickly. It’s best if I go ahead and go to sleep now and start from where I left off tomorrow.
